I challenged my second semester students to create an image with color. I found an image online I wanted to recreate. I knew the combination of my Olympus 5050 camera and Summer Sloan would be the perfect combination. I even love the red eye look created by the point and shoot. This is a portrait of singer/songwriter, Morgan Ganem. It’s been a while since we did a photo shoot and he was going for more of a “Pop” vibe. When he broke out the thin tie and Talkboy, I knew I had to shoot him with my Olympus point and shoot camera. I wanted to create a Kodak Instamatic film look.
